Plantasy Foods Alfabeto pasta has been mechanically cut or pressed into the letters of the alphabet. It is a variety of small pasta or gluten free pastina that has a short cooking time, making it the perfect addition to broth, soup or minestrone.
Alfabeto will delight children as they try to spell out their own name. They are a great first pasta for young children, and will even bring a smile to the face of big kids!

Free from Gluten, Wheat, Yeast, Dairy, Egg, and Nuts, and Vegan.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium carrot, finely diced
- 1 medium stick celery, finely diced
- 6 cups (1.5 litres) vegetable stock
- 100g Alfabeto ABC Pasta
Directions:
- Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat until hot. Add onion and cook, stirring often, for 3 minutes.
- Add carrot and celery and cook, stirring often for 5 minutes.
- Add stock, cover and bring to the boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add pasta, partially cover and cook for 8-10 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Season to taste before serving.
